The Code Within - Capstone Project
The Code Within is a look into a world in which technology is embedded in every part of it: the buildings, people, air, and plants, everything you see. Our basic genetic code is binary numbers, which are the base coding for technology, similar to our DNA sequencing. Binary code is, in short, how computers store and process information. The numbers can relate to a dataset, or be used for processing video or audio such as with DVDs and CDs. Even phone calls and pictures use types of code.
We can come across technology at any moment, and in turn, it walks among us in a crowd, spreading from person to person. The moment the person decides to engage with technology, technology might engage with them, blurring the difference between human and computer. In such a reality, everything is code.
